Annual Dinner with Accounting Students

February 16, 2016 6-8 pm

    The Chapter is hosting our annual joint meeting with the Baylor University Beta Alpha Psi students and the accounting students from Tarleton State University at Waco and the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor on February 16, 2016 from 6-8 pm.  Allyson Baumeister, CPA and TSCPA Chairman from Fort Worth will present "TSCPA's Opportunities in Accounting" for one hour of CPE.  

The event will be held at Baylor University, in the Paul L. Foster Campus for Innovation and Business, 1621 S. 3rd Street (on Bagby between 3rd and 4th streets) in the second floor Paul and Jane Meyer Conference Center.  Parking is available in the 4th Street & Speight parking garage and in the parking lots behind the former Hankamer School of Business and Sid Richardson Science Building (Speight and 3rd Street).

$500, $250 and $100 event sponsorships are available.  Donations can also be made through Eventbrite and checks mailed to PO Box 7834, Waco, Texas  76714.
We would like to thank BKD, LLP for sponsoring our raffle.  The raffle prizes are two IPad Airs and ticket prices are $5 for 1 ticket or $10 for 3 tickets.  The winners will be drawn at the conclusion of the dinner.  The winners do not need to be present to win.  Chapter Board members are selling raffle tickets and tickets will be sold at the event.

Fraud Prevention Luncheon
February 24, 2016

Waco Foundation is partnering with the Chapter and the Waco-McLennan County Bar Association and invites the nonprofit community to join us in examining the nature of fraud and learn how boards can work to prevent it. Our speaker, David Cotton is a national fraud prevention expert. Board treasurers and members are encouraged to attend.  Join us for lunch at Ridgewood Country Club from 11 am to 1 pm.  2 hours of CPE is available.
